Thomis Joins Vital Findings in Senior Strategy Role

Insight agency Vital Findings has appointed Iwan Thomis, formerly a Partner at Material+, as Chief Strategy Officer.

Vital Findings was formed in 2011 and in addition to customised, reliable and actionable research prides itself on 'optimizing results for visual comprehension', its VF Studio unit providing outputs including design-driven reports, infographics, personas, video deliverables, installations and insights workshops.

British-born Thomis started his career in advertising account planning, and has worked in the Bay Area since 1997. At Material+ he led relationships across technology and fintech brands; earlier he was Chief Strategy Officer at San Francisco-based Greenberg Strategy, acquired by Material+ in 2019.

In his new role he will work on growth strategy, marketing and innovation alongside Chief Research Officer Jason Kramer and company President Amanda Hirsch; and with VP Client Engagement Brian Thompson to support and expand the Vital Findings technology practice.
