Hamburg, Germany-based market research platform Appinio has announced two appointments geared towards rapid expansion: Samer Ragheb as Director of Marketing and Viktoriya Vasileva as Director of People & Culture.
Appinio was founded in 2014 by Jonathan Kurfess (currently Chairman), Max Honig (CEO) and Kai Granaß (CTO), and promises 'innovative and effortless market research'. It now employs around 200 people in more than fifteen cities worldwide.
Ragheb joins from TikTok where most recently he was Head of B2B Product marketing for Europe. Earlier he spent three years apiece at Quantcast - in product roles - and at Facebook where he worked on gaming platform partnerships. In his new role at Appinio he is responsible for growing and structuring a multi-disciplinary marketing function to help accelerate growth.
Vasileva brings experience from tech scale-ups, medtech and fintech, including GetYourGuide and Finoa. At Appinio she will define and build global people strategy, attract and retain top talent, and promote a high-performing company culture, with a focus on leveraging people analytics.
