Streaming data insights provider PlumResearch has appointed Jonathan Broughton as Research Director, tasked with advancing its analytics and insights capabilities in the entertainment industry.
Plum provides streaming data insights for a global client base, with a focus on linear TV, SVOD and AVOD markets and including eleven platforms: Netflix, (HBO) Max, Disney+, Amazon Prime, Apple TV+, Peacock, Hulu, Pluto, Tubi, Roku and Crunchyroll. Broughton (pictured) joins from the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), where he has worked as Head of Strategy for the last two years, helping to guide broadcasters through digital transformation and tech adoption. Earlier he founded and ran Workshare Consulting, worked as a Lead Analyst at Media Business Insight and spent seven and a half years focusing on the home entertainment sector at IHS Markit.
