Trio of Product Hires Boost Indico Labs

MR reporting software and services company Indico Labs has appointed Warren Smith as Technical Operations Lead, Edward Lidbetter as Product Owner, and Lucy Robbins as Product Marketing Manager - as it looks to scale up its SlideGen product this year.

Indico Labs was founded in 2018 by Majeed Saheb-Zadha, a former YouGov Python Programmer and Senior Data Analyst at Discovery Inc. SlideGen is a self-service application allowing users to create PowerPoint reports directly from their Excel tables, streamlining the process of populating and refreshing data presentations; and the firm also offers Dashbox, which can be used to convert tabulated data into an interactive online chart-book, combining the functionality of a dashboard with the layout of a traditional report.

Robbins and Lidbetter bring experience from tech scale ups to grow the company's tech offering, while South Africa-based Smith will support off-line reporting services.

Smith (pictured centre) joins from NielsenIQ, and also worked for GfK South Africa during fourteen years in the MR industry, with a focus on managing data processing, consumer panel administration of at-home consumer research projects, and report liaison.

Lidbetter (pictured right) joins after two years at content automation system Echobox, and will serve as product owner for Indico's newly upgraded slide automation product SlideGen.

Robbins (left) joins from Zappi, where she spent three years as a product marketer, and will work part-time alongside responsibilities on her family farm. She comments: 'Indico have been incredibly supportive and flexible, allowing me to continue my career in tech alongside returning to support my family on the farm, especially at busy times like lambing. I wasn't sure that it was possible to find a role in product marketing that would allow this, so it's a really exciting opportunity'.
