In New Jersey, applied behavioral science insights agency BEESY has announced the launched of a custom-built AI analysis model called SAM.
BEESY, which celebrates its 6th birthday next week, helps healthcare and biopharma companies to understand and impact customer decision-making and behavior. The firm was founded by former Ipsos Marketing US CEO Elys Roberts (pictured).
SAM stands for System-1 Analytics Model. The machine learning tool is 'built for the consistent identification and aggregate analysis of behavioral science principles', and has been trained with limited sets of data and definitions developed by the firm's behavioral science experts, promising improved accuracy against that of commercial LLMs. BEESY says that 'unlike GenAI, [SAM] codes from the ground up at a granular level and then aggregates content, making it much easier to check accuracy'. The model also receives constant human attention and continuous expert review and refinement.
Roberts comments: 'Our mission at BEESY is to leverage rigorous science to deliver improved commercial outcomes for companies in the pharmaceutical and medtech industries. We do that by always seeking ways to better understand and impact human decision-making. Introducing a machine learning tool custom-built for behavioral analysis is one of the many ways BEESY continues to push the envelope and we're thrilled to welcome SAM to our cause!'.
