Four Promoted to Management Board at Opinium

UK-based strategic insight agency Opinium has promoted four of its partners - Emily Dickinson, Debbie Shuttlewood, Josh Glendinning and Tom McEnery - to join CEO James Endersby on its Management Board.

Opinium has teams in London, New York, Amsterdam and Cape Town, and was established in 2007 by 28 investors, predominantly from outside the MR sector,who agreed to release up to 50% of their equity to be offered to individual employees when revenue and valuation targets were met. The firm named ten new equity partners a month ago - including Dickinson and McEnery - bringing the total to 21, and says it is aiming eventually for 50% employee ownership.

'We've proved that by looking after our people, they look after our clients', says Endersby, 'and this people-centric approach has driven double-digit annual growth for over a decade. Given our size and ambitions the time is now right to promote the brilliant Emily, Debbie, Josh and Tom up to join me on the Management Board. They will help me to continue to put our people first by working closely with all our teams to set and deliver our ambitious strategic objectives. Further Management Board positions will be considered in the future'.

Shuttlewood has been a Director at Opinium for three years having previously held senior roles at Ipsos and Kantar. Former Hall & Partners exec McEnery joined Opinium in 2020 as a Director. Dickinson has been a Director of the company for more than six years having previously held senior roles at Kantar Millward Brown. Glendinning joined as a Research Manager in 2017 and was made a partner in 2019, having worked previously as an Insights Manager at communications agency Hill & Knowlton.
