PriceSpider Rolls Out Price Intelligence Solution

November 15 2024

Californian firm PriceSpider has launched a new price monitoring tool providing brands with enhanced insights and visibility concerning their price positioning across key selling partners.

Anthony FerryPriceSpider provides data solutions to help clients improve their shopper experience, streamlining the path to purchase and collecting actionable insights about both products and customers. A number of upgrades were launched earlier this year to help brands build seamless omnichannel experiences, and included new data sharing and integration tools.

The new solution offers detailed insights into competitor pricing, to help clients fine-tune their pricing strategies to respond effectively to changes in the market and maintain a competitive edge. Detailed price trend reports are provided on specific products and retailers, including information for brand-owned product promotions. The solution forms part of PriceSpider's Price Monitoring Suite alongside Prowl, which provides price monitoring, enforcement and unauthorized seller discovery.

'Price is a top factor in purchasing decisions and in brand profitability' says founder and CEO Anthony Ferry (pictured), 'making it essential for brands to actively monitor their own pricing across the digital shelf, as well as understand their competitors' pricing strategies. Our new Price Intelligence solution builds upon our decades of experience in price monitoring and MAP enforcement with our flagship product Prowl. This new module gives brands a global view of their pricing and competitor pricing across the digital shelf to better position their products across every digital touchpoint'.
