In the US, full service MR firm and training course provider Burke, Inc. has appointed Joanna Patterson as Vice President, Client Services.Burke was founded in 1931, is 100% employee-owned, and offers customer services in decision science, insights and innovation. It is also known for its subsidiary, the Burke Institute, which provides education for marketing research and consumer insights roles. The company acquired innovation and growth acceleration specialist Seed Strategy ten years ago.
Patterson's more than twenty years of experience in the sector includes particular knowledge of shopper and retail insights. She was previously a Vice President at both Product Ventures and Kantar, leading strategic innovation and consulting initiatives for clients, and before this spent more than fifteen years at GfK Custom Research. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in French with a minor in International Studies from the University of Virginia, and an MBA in Marketing and Management from the University of Connecticut.
