Shopper purchasing decision specialist Behaviorally has appointed Katie O'Connor as Senior Vice President, Key Accounts, based in London. She worked previously at firms including Bounce Insights, Zappi and STRAT7 Incite.Behaviorally promises 'Decision Precision intelligence', offering software and expertise for studying consumer behavior in the final moments along the path-to-purchase. It also operates 'the world's largest' database of behavioral consumer pack design metrics. A packaging insights platform called GLADYS, which uses a real-time collaboration feature to deliver behavioral qual intelligence for rapid analysis from any location.
O'Connor brings more than fifteen years of experience in insights and research consultancy. She started as a Research Associate at BrainJuicer, rising over four and a half years to Senior Research Consultant and leaving in 2014 to join Jigsaw Communispace, then Incite eighteen months later - during this time she spent a year in Shanghai, then returned to London. She spent five and a half years at Zappi, first as VP of Customer Transformation and later Head of Research Solutions, and most recently was Research and partnerships Director at Bounce Insights.
The decoding of consumer behavior through data has formed a major part of O'Connor's work, in projects helping to optimise packaging, branding and marketing strategies.
