In London, former YouthSight and Savanta researcher Josephine Hansom has teamed up with Lowri Gilbert, previously a senior civil servant and consultant, to form Now & Next, described as a youth-focused research and thought leadership consultancy.
Hansom (pictured left) is a former MRS Board Member with more than 25 years of research experience - she was MD at YouthSight Research and an SVP at Savanta, and serves as a Strategic Advisor to UCAS. Lowri (pictured right) led multi-billion pound behaviour change programmes that helped shape government policy and society.
Now & Next aims to help organisations futureproof their business by understanding the next generation, whether they define it as 'Gen Z, Generation Alpha or even Millennials.' The firm will use full service, mixed methods research to survey 'real young people,' and will also offer workshops and talks.
'Our clients want more young people to use their products or services,' says Hansom, 'and so our approach is simple. We speak to young people and ask them what they're doing now and what they want to do next.' Lowri comments: 'Leading major government programmes has taught me that the best outcomes come from listening properly to the people you're trying to reach, not assuming you already know. That's exactly what Now & Next does for young people: we ask, we listen, and we deliver insight that makes a difference.'
