Business intelligence (BI) provider QuantiSense has partnered with analytics specialist Netezza to deliver intelligence and analytics applications developed exclusively for the retail industry.With the new tools, the pair say that retailers will be able to reduce 'stockouts', minimize overstocks and markdowns, identify sales upswings and downswings at the store level, and guide their users to take appropriate action based on insight.
Netezza's solutions will also enable QuantiSense to deliver data from more than 1,000 retail metrics built into its own application.
