In the US, KantarHealth Joint CEO Elaine Riddell has decided to leave the company to 'pursue other opportunities': Joint CEO Lynnette Cooke assumes sole global CEO responsibilities with immediate effect.
Prior to Kantar's acquisition of TNS last year, Riddell worked as CEO of TNS' Worldwide Healthcare Division. Before this, she spent nine years at NOP; latterly as CEO of NOP World Healthcare. Earlier she held senior roles at Market Measures Interactive (MMI), IMS Canada, IMS America and at Abbott Laboratories.
'From 2003 Elaine was instrumental in building the TNS Healthcare business into one of the leading global healthcare market research organizations,' Kantar CEO Eric Salama stated. 'Since the acquisition of TNS last year she has made an enormous contribution to creating the blueprint for KantarHealth. We thank her for her contribution and wish her every success in her future endeavors.'
KantarHealth, which was formally launched in September, combines All Global, Consumer Health Sciences, MattsonJack, TNS Healthcare and Ziment.
Cooke was formerly CEO at Ziment Group, prior to which she held senior positions in research and product management across a range of industries including pharma and medical/surgical, consumer packaged goods, financial services, and child and family products.
