Ipsos is to launch 'The Polish OTC Consumer' study, to analyse Poles' habits and attitudes towards buying and using non-prescription medicines and parapharmaceutics. It will be designed to assess self-treatment, the role of the doctor and pharmacist, sources of information on OTC (over the counter) medicines and parapharmaceutics (such as vitamins and dietary products). It will also examine the process of buying such products, the reasons for buying them, along with attitudes towards health and medicines.
The first syndicated study will be conducted next January among a representative nationwide sample of 800 Poles aged 15+.
Questionnaire-based interviews will be conducted face-to-face, and the project will be supported by CAPI (computer assisted personal interview) techniques.
