In the UK, the BBC has issued an invitation for firms to bid for a three year contract to design a web analytics tool. The contract is worth between £4.5m and £6.9m.
The broadcaster says the online measurement tool will 'support the operational and tactical insight needed to ensure all its propositions are optimised to offer the best value for money for audiences, while catering for its regulatory reporting needs'.
It will be used to feed data into the BBC's RQIV (Reach, Quality, Impact and Value) framework, while helping to assess the corporation's initiatives such as Public Purposes, Service Licence Reviews and the Continuous Improvement Programme.
Information can be found on the BBC's portal bbc.bravosolution.co.uk , and the closing date for tenders is 4 January 2010.
