Lindi Levitt, Account Director and Head of Ipsos' Qualitative division, has relocated to Durban, South Africa to open an executive office.
Markinor was founded in 1975, and became part of Ipsos in 2007. The firm offers quant and qual expertise including large surveys throughout sub-Saharan Africa. The latest expansion is part of a national growth and development strategy, but is also a more specific response to clients' need to have a local interface in all major metropolitan areas.
Levitt, who joined Ipsos Markinor in 2007, has more than six years' market research experience in both qual and quant methodologies. During her career, her focus has been on the automotive, FMCG and telecoms sectors, where she has specialised in advertising and concept testing.
Grant van Niekerk, Head of Marketing Research Solutions at Ipsos Markinor states: 'We have great plans for our Durban office, and the investment of placing such a high-profile exec, who is au fait in both qual and quant, illustrates Ipsos' commitment to serving our clients and growing our business.'
