Two former Directors of automotive specialist JD Power & Associates have launched brownsauce Group, a full-service UK agency which offers research design, brand interpretation and project management services to clients in the automotive industry.Joint MDs Sue Barnes and Chris Brown say the new agency has been formed to support clients with their product design and development, manufacturing and vehicle quality evaluation needs. The pair also provide customer satisfaction measurement, brand definition, creative concept testing, and brand tracking services.
Most recently, Barnes was JD Power's European Automotive Director for the EMEA region, accountable for senior research teams delivering large scale pan-European studies. During her career, she has also worked client-side at Nissan and British Airways.
Brown joined JD Power in 2002, where latterly he was Operations Director for the EMEA region, heading up all research operations, and responsible for moving the pan-European Automotive CSI programme from phone/postal fieldwork to an online platform. He started his career at AGB, before working at TNS and boutique agency e-Satisfy.
In addition to supporting clients in the auto industry, the pair have also conducted studies for those in the telecoms, utilities, finance, education, travel and hotels, and fmcg industries.
'It is our combined experience and energetic approach that provides brownsauce with such a strong proposition,' states Barnes. 'We offer a fresh approach to clients who want to take the dryness out of research and enjoy learning how to make their business grow, expand and prosper.'
