London-based consumer research agency rdsi has moved its Leeds office to larger premises, and promoted Jenni Welling and John Horgan to SRE positions.Founded in 1984, rdsi's principal areas of business are healthcare (beauty, toiletries, and pharmaceutical), food and drink, finance, telecoms, and retail. It has a turnover of more than £6m and employs around 36 staff.
The firm, which began offering quant research services from its Leeds operation last year, has now moved to new offices in Park Place to meet its plans to grow the company further in 2010.
'Our new offices in Leeds are not only a measure of our recent success, they also give us a more creative space for us and our clients to work in,' explained Andrew Burns, Board Director and Head of rdsi Leeds.
'The flexible workspace lets us have dedicated project analysis areas, run workshops and seminars, client immersion sessions and even video linked groups,' he added.
In addition to the move, rdsi has promoted two of its team.
Welling joined the Quantitative research division in 2008, and has since run the 'Gatekeeper Mums' child behaviour trends tracking project, while also working across adult lifestage sectors.
Horgan, who also joined the firm in 2008, specialises in retail research and works with clients on category management issues, with special responsibilities for online research methods.
