In the US, TV ad analytics specialist Ace Metrix has appointed former Yahoo! Chief of Insights Peter Daboll as CEO and Board member.
Ace Metrix delivers near real-time actionable analytics for TV advertising. Through its patent-pending Ace Score solution, the firm provides syndicated data through a SaaS model. In December, the company completed a $6m B Round of financing, which it is using to boost its sales and marketing.
Daboll joins from online visitor engagement specialist Bunchball, where he had worked as CEO since 2008. Before this, he was Chief of Insights at Yahoo!, worked as President and CEO of comScore Media Metrix, and held President and COO roles at MarketTools, Advertising.com and MediaPlan. Daboll began his career in senior management positions with the Analytics Consulting Group at Information Resources Inc (IRI) and Nielsen.
'Peter is uniquely prepared to lead Ace Metrix to the next level of growth,' stated Ann Winblad, co-founder and MD of Hummer Winblad Venture Partners, an investor in Ace Metrix.
'His knowledge of the online space combined with his detailed experience with syndicated data and advertising measurement platforms is an ideal fit for Ace Metrix,' she added.
