In the US, outsourced sales and marketing specialist MarketStar and retail MR agency The NPD Group have partnered to launch a product to determine the most efficient marketing programs to grow retail presence.The new Intellalign (intelligent marketing resource alignment) solution combines qual and quant data from MarketStar's real-time market insight and NPD's POS store level intelligence, helping marketers to focus their efforts to grow their brand presence and optimize their marketing dollars, say the firms.
The tool provides analysis of consumer demographics, spending, psychographics and store data to help clients dig more deeply into consumer behaviour and purchase patterns. It can also be used for competitor analysis, to target sales and marketing resources, and to identify micro-market opportunities.
