GfK has appointed Colm Mallon as Territory Manager Ireland in its Retail and Technology division, responsible for servicing manufacturer clients and retailers and developing panels in the Irish market.Mallon joins from Sony, where as Area Sales Manager and Product Trainer he dealt with independent electrical retailers, members of both the expert and euronics buying groups, and a number of Sony Centres.
Before this, he held business development roles with tobacco product manufacturer Swedish Match, and brand consultancy SHS. In his new role, Mallon is also responsible for increasing the visibility of the GfK brand, and will introduce and develop new panels.
