Analytics pioneer Webtrends has launched a new real-time site customization tool which combines the functionality of its existing targeting tool Webtrends Optimize and its segmentation tool Webtrends Segments.The new product, Optimize Profile Enhanced Targeting, allows marketers to gather both online and off-line data, analyze and segment customers, store these profiles and, using one-click integration, serve up appropriate content and offers to specific high value customers.
According to Casey Carey, Vice President Products, 'We are delivering profile-based onsite targeting today with the convergence of in-session segmentation and the multivariate testing and behavioural targeting techniques of optimization'.
