In the US, healthcare research specialist Mike Bandick has joined Ipsos Understanding UnLtd (IUU) - the qual division of Ipsos North America - as Vice President of Health.IUU is a full service qual research firm, tapping the experience of its 60+ moderators and research consultants for clients in the consumer packaged goods, retail, healthcare/pharma, technology, financial services and entertainment sectors.
Bandick joins with a diverse background in healthcare research. Most recently, he spent four and a half years leading the client service and analytics (quant and qual) functions and serving on the Executive Committee at G&S Research, a market research agency focused exclusively on pharma, biotech, medical device and diagnostics clients.
Before this, he spent 13 years in neuroscience commercialization at Eli Lilly & Company, including global marketing director roles on two brands (Zyprexa and Cymbalta). He then went on to build the marketing function at medical device firm Suros Surgical Systems.
'Mike's combination of market research experience, knowledge of the health sector and positive, client-focused approach make him an ideal person to lead IUU's health sector through its next phase of growth,' states SVP Peter Weylie.
