In the US, corporate comms specialist Qorvis has launched an analytics tool that evaluates recent online conversations around a brand or company, in order to define brand reputation.The company also has its own in-house polling and research company: Clarus Research Group, which provides insights based on qualitative and quantitative research studies in the business, technology, political, entertainment, education, and public policy worlds.
Its new 'SentiMeter' solution provides a brand reputation score on a scale of 1 to 10 by classifying online opinions into categories such as positive, neutral or negative. Data covers more than 500,000 brands, and real-time scores are based on the last 90 days of conversation.
'Qorvis is now able to quantify brand conversations occurring throughout search, mobile, web and social media, to provide a current snapshot that informs marketing and online brand strategy,' states Jason Siegel, Partner and lead on the firm's interactive team.
