In the UK, consumer insight and market research specialist Engage Research has doubled its sales for the year ending 31 March 2010, with turnover up from £1.2m in 2008 to £2.5m in 2009.London-based Engage was founded more than five years ago by a team of Research International Directors, with backgrounds in consumer, fmcg, innovation and packaging research.
The firm offers a broad range of experience across brands, categories, markets and business issues, using a wide range of research techniques.
Earlier in the year, Engage appointed YouGov's former Head of Qualitative Research Andy Barker as a Director, and brand and communications specialist Alexa Arrowsmith joined the firm from Hall & Partners.
Commenting on Engage's financial results, Director Deb Sleep says: 'We believe that our growth has been driven by something very compelling in our proposition that is bringing repeat business, and that's hands-on attention by experienced staff and a focus on delivering really relevant insights.'
