In the US, the Qualitative Research Consultants Association (QRCA) has elected a new Board of Directors for 2010-11, led by Nancy Hardwick who owns Washington State-based Hardwick Research.New York City-based QRCA is a not-for-profit global network of nearly 1,000 qualitative researchers, involved in the design and implementation of focus groups, in-depth interviews, in-context and observational research, and more.
The association's goal is to promote excellence in qualitative research by pooling experience and expertise, to create a shared knowledge base.
Hardwick, who has worked in the research industry since 1986, founded market research and public opinion polling specialist Hardwick Research in 1994.
