Synovate has appointed former Nielsen head Bruce Paul as Senior Vice President in its New York office, to oversee account management and new business development for its east coast consumer offer.Paul joins after a decade with Nielsen where he held several management positions, most recently Global Head of the Financial Services research division. He also previously served as Head of Nielsen's CR/BASES division for the western US region, and Head of Client Service for the US Custom Research business.
Prior to Nielsen, Paul founded the Asia Pacific arm of strategy consulting firm Sofres in Hong Kong, as well as the international research division of a Japanese research agency in Tokyo called Research Fact which eventually became part of Synovate.
