Chicago-based C&R Research has launched a shared online community called ParentSpeak, which engages parents of children up to 18 years old, drawing insights from their interaction for client-sponsored research.Full-service agency C&R was launched as long ago as 1959 to provide custom-designed qual and quant research for a variety of B2B and B2C clients. Its new ParentSpeak platform is expected to have a population of 10,000 by the end of the first quarter, and has an ultimate goal of 20,000 respondents.
The solution will provide online immersion and advisory sessions, including chats and focus groups, bulletin boards, exploratory surveys, photo and video journals, and voicemail 'shopalongs'.
It can also be used for traditional quant research such as concept evaluation, ad testing, and web usability tests, as well as hybrid approaches like interactive queries.
'As a shared resource, the platform is available to any number of clients to more quickly gain insights into behaviors, motivations and influences among parents and families,' states SVP Brenda Hurley. 'Through ParentSpeak, we're providing a holistic view of, and easy access to, today's families - moms, dads, and, through our existing KidzEyes and TeensEyes panels, their kids, too.'
