UK-based insight and communications group Creston has reported like-for-like revenue growth of more than 6% for the nine months to 31 December 2010.Founded in 2001, Creston comprises three divisions: Insight, Communications and Health. Its Insight division includes Marketing Sciences and ICM.
In an interim management statement released today, Creston said that during the period, the Insight division's focus has been on driving new business development and new product initiatives.
This follows the appointment of a new senior management team at ICM led by former Kantar exec Justin Sampson as Chairman, ex-Fieldwork International Healthcare MD Gareth Nicol as Managing Director, former Ipsos MORI retail and shopper head Nathan Bartlett and TNS consultant David Perry.
BT's former research head James Turner and Optimisa's former CEO Andrew Wiseman also joined ICM's Board last September.
Since the beginning of the year, ICM says it has commenced a 'significant programme' of consumer research, been commissioned to conduct a project to test voters' attitudes ahead of the forthcoming alternative vote referendum; and won a contract to conduct qual research across Asia and North America.
CEO Don Elgie said that with positive momentum across the group, the management team's expectations for the full year remain unchanged.
