In the US, market research consultancy Jerry Henry & Associates and theme park corporation Herschend Family Entertainment (HFE) have partnered to launch a new agency called H2R Market Research, which will focus on the travel, tourism and leisure sectors.HFE owns and operates several family-oriented theme parks and attractions including Dollywood, Stone Mountain Park, and the Adventure and Newport Aquariums.
The company has now partnered with research industry veteran Jerry Henry to launch the new Springfield, Missouri-based venture, which will also offer research services to a wider range of clients including those in the healthcare and retail service industries.
H2R Market Research's full range of qual and quant services includes online surveys, telephone interviews, mail surveys, intercept/personal surveys, in-depth interviews and focus groups.
Henry - who becomes President of the new firm - previously worked for HFE as Corporate Director of Research, while also running his own research consultancy. Prior to this, he was Marketing Director at Bass Pro Shops, where he led the research division and managed consumer database and direct mail strategies.
