US-based online measurement firm comScore has received Media Rating Council (MRC) accreditation for its 'comScore Direct' service, which provides filtered census-level data.The census-level web site measurement data - which confirms to IAB guidelines as well as the MRC's standards - is combined with panel-based measurement from the firm's proprietary Unified Digital Measurement (UDM) platform, currently under review by the MRC.
comScore's Chief Research Officer Josh Chasin comments on the accreditation: 'This is a significant milestone in our ongoing relationship with the MRC, and we look forward to continued progress as we work together to expand the pool of comScore-accredited services.'
