Indian data collection firm Advaith has opened an office in the UK, where it has appointed former Pulse Group exec Jonathan Sheldrake as Sales Director for Europe.
Headquartered in Noida, India, the Advaith group comprises three business units: online research arm Panel Next; AsiaPac field work specialist Data Next; and telephone sampling division Call Next.
The firm says its new UK office will act as a client development hub for Europe, while the company continues to provide data collection services throughout the AsiaPac region.
Sheldrake worked at online research company Pulse Group for the last three years. Latterly, as Sales Director, Europe and the Americas, he opened the European office, oversaw sales in the US, and managed a sales team in Kuala Lumpur.
Before Pulse, he served as Research Director at biotech consultancy BIBA Medical; as Research Manager for monitor market specialist Meko; Market Research and Development Manager with APPTIME in Munich, Germany; as Customer Insight Specialist for Ford's customer satisfaction programme; International Research Manager with International Techvantage Group; and as Research Manager with International Data Corporation (IDC).
In his new role, Sheldrake will provide expertise for global sales initiatives in addition to leading all sales activities in Europe.
Advaith's Business Head, Akshay Kanyal, comments: 'We are extremely excited to launch our UK office, and I have strong confidence in Jonathan's leadership in continuing to expand our business throughout the European region.'
