Philippines Firm Buys BI Specialist

Business and competitive intelligence specialist Fuld & Company has been acquired by the Phinma Group, a Philippines-based service business whose offer includes business process outsourcing. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Founded in 1979, Fuld & Company conducts customized, proprietary research, analysis and consulting to help clients understand their competition and market opportunities. The firm is headquartered in Cambridge, MA, with additional offices in London, UK and Dalian, China.

As part of the deal, Fuld will become part of Phinma division Global Business Research Support (GBRS) - a provider of competitive intelligence research services which offers reports on key global markets, industries and organisations.

Fuld's operations and management teams in Boston and London will remain in place, with GBRS lending it additional support and global reach.
