In London, GfK HealthCare has appointed former Adelphi International Research MD David Mackenzie as Global Head of Country Strategic Development, liaising with local teams across the firm to develop new and existing clients.Mackenzie's healthcare background spans both the pharma manufacturer and marketing research agency sectors. He spent the first 10 years of his career in sales and marketing roles with SmithKline and French and later, following the merger, SmithKline Beecham. After becoming Head of Market Research at SmithKline Beecham, he moved to Adelphi in 1997, rising to the role of MD.
In his new position, Mackenzie will be responsible for the support and development of HealthCare departments within GfK Custom Research companies in more than 40 countries.
