Kantar Media has announced the European launch of its online behavioural measurement firm Compete, with the opening of a new office in London.Compete was established in the US in 2000, and acquired by TNS (now part of Kantar) in 2008. The firm provides a broad spectrum of digital marketing solutions, including audience insight, media planning, competitive intelligence, path-to-purchase tracking, marketing and online channel effectiveness.
Last November, Compete launched a platform giving users unlimited access to detailed traffic, audience and engagement metrics covering the top one million web sites.
Compete's European team will serve UK clients in the retail & FMCG, technology, entertainment, telecom and travel sectors, as well as media companies and ad agencies. Clients in France will be able to access Compete's services later this year, and other markets will follow.
