In the US, multi-screen measurement specialist Rentrak has appointed former Simmons Experian statistician David Algranati as Senior Vice President of Product Innovation and Analytical Solutions.
Algranati joined consumer and media firm Simmons Market Research Bureau (later acquired by Experian Information Solutions) in 2002 as its Senior Statistician, and most recently worked there as Director of Integrated Marketing Solutions.
During his time with the firm, he was part of the team which integrated Simmons Consumer Opportunity Rating (SCOR) with SimmonsLOCAL, to offer a product that rates consumers based on location and behaviour as well as demographics.
In his new role, Algranati will be responsible for overlaying consumer and advanced demographic data onto Rentrak's viewership information; and for leading the Product Innovation and Analytical Solutions team, which provides customised advanced analytics.
