In the UK, Hampshire-based product development specialist Marketing Sciences has appointed former Nunwood exec Guy Maxwell as Qualitative Director, to help further develop its 'Inspired' division.
Founded in 1977, the Creston-owned firm offers both qual and quant research - from ad hoc projects to major tracking studies. The company also has a sensory panel which is used to profile food and drink products using the industry standard Quantitative Descriptive Analysis (QDA) method.
Inspired brings together qual researchers from across the company to understand the business decisions driven by research findings.
Maxwell joins with more than 16 years' industry experience gained in the UK and Australia. He previously worked for Nunwood and Firefly Millward Brown, and has experience across a number of areas from brand and communications to new product development for clients in many categories.
MD Keith Bates comments: 'We are very pleased to have attracted a qualitative researcher of Guy's calibre to head up the Inspired team. Guy is an important part of our plan to respond to a growing demand for broader qualitative skills from our clients.'
