MR and consulting firm Morpace has opened a new Asia Pacific operation in Shanghai, and appointed former Broadview Market Research manager Tong Zhou as Research Director there.Morpace specialises in brand strategy, product development and customer experience management including satisfaction, loyalty and retention. The new office adds to its existing operations in Guildford, UK and Irvine, California, from where it conducts research in more than 60 countries.
Zhou (pictured) spent the last two years completing his masters degree in the US, prior to which he served as General Manager and Research Director for Broadview Market Research Company in Shanghai. Earlier in his career, he was Marketing Manager at Jian Li Bao Energy Beverage Co, and a Senior copywriter at Nan Guo International Film Advertisement Co.
In his new role, Zhou will work with Meiling Shih, VP, Asia-Pacific, and will manage all research activities in the region. He will also partner with VP, Automotive Bryan Krulikowski on new business development in the region.
Shih comments: 'Tong has strong relationships in the market research community in China. He is a great senior addition to our new Asia-Pacific office and will play an important role in the growth of Morpace Asia-Pacific.'
