In London, online measurement specialist comScore has appointed Laurence Bird as Senior Research Director for the EMEA region.Bird has more than fifteen years' research experience in media organisations, including CNN and Disney, and was Head of Strategic Planning and Research at IAB UK and a board member of IAB Europe. She studied in France and then moved to Imperial College London to earn an MBA in Strategy, Brand Management and Entrepreneurship.
comScore says one of Bird's priorities will be to support its pursuit of accountability and transparent research methodologies. The firm's recent launches include a new social media ROI tool, an 'All Device' measurement solution, 'Device Essential', the Media Metrix Total Universe report and the site-level forensic service Digital Analytix.
