Online specialist YouGov has today announced the launch of YouGov France, based in Paris, and appointed Julien Chevignon to lead it.
The company, which announced rapid growth earlier this month, has already signed several new clients in France and has a French panel which currently exceeds 50,000 members. The main products being introduced to the French market are YouGov's BrandIndex and Omnibus. Further products and services will follow.
The new office will be headed up by Chevignon in the role of Country Manager/Directeur Général YouGov France. Prior to joining the company, Julien was head of the Nielsen Pricing and Portfolio practice, managing operations in France, Germany, Poland, Spain and the UK.
CEO and co-founder Stephan Shakespeare comments: 'With the establishment of YouGov France, we significantly strengthen YouGov's European reach. I am delighted at the appointment of Julien Chevignon, who has a strong management background in European market research, to lead our French operations.'
YouGov France will be operating from an office at Rue de Caumartin, near the Opera.
