In the UK, consumer research specialist Firefish has appointed radio industry exec MJ Olaore as its new Chief Operating Officer. Samantha Siva also joins as Qualitative Director and Karen Harwood as Field Project Manager.Established in 2000, Firefish offers both qual and quant services. In June, the firm launched a specialist children and families research consultancy called 'The Pineapple Lounge'.
Olaore (pictured) joins from Absolute Radio where she served as a Director of Special Projects. Prior to this, she spent five years at Virgin Radio as Director of Finance & Operations.
Siva began her career client side at Unilever, before moving agency side to work as a quant researcher in Australia, specialising in social research and working with a number of Government agencies. She moved to the UK six years ago, and has since focused exclusively on qual branding research.
Harwood joins with two and a half years' experience of managing qual and quant projects for a field recruitment agency.
