GfK has announced a global partnership with online and mobile research software provider Revelation, to power and roll out an online qual research solution it calls GfK SocioLog.dx.
Revelation develops web-based research systems that combine ethnography with the reach of the Internet, to provide a 360-degree view of customers. The partnership combines this with GfK's qual experience and global reach.
The tool provides researchers with a platform through which to tap hard-to-reach respondents such as teenagers and early technology adopters, while engaging both participants and moderators.
GfK worked with Revelation for more than three years prior to engaging them as a partner in the roll-out. GfK SocioLog.dx is so far available through 26 offices around the world.
Revelation CEO Steve August (pictured) says the firms have enjoyed 'a great relationship... for several years' and that the partnership provides the opportunity to work even more closely, adding: 'we are delighted that they selected us to be part of their online qualitative research offering.'
