US planning agency AdStaff Media has acquired Media Research Planning and Placement (MRPP), which offers media market research, planning and buying. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.Raleigh, Durham-based MRPP was founded in 1987. As part of the deal, founder and CEO Sheila Ogle (pictured) will stay on as a consultant with AdStaff Media, while she pursues other business activities, including running her own event facility Matthews House and Matthews House Catering.
Ogle comments: 'While I have enjoyed starting and growing MRPP for a quarter century, I can now devote more of my time and resources to other local projects. I look forward to assisting AdStaff Media with a smooth transition of our clients, and I am confident they will do an excellent job in providing them with the quality service they have learned to expect.'
