UK-based full service agency SPA Future Thinking has appointed Jörg Höhner in the new role of Global Head of Automotive, with a remit to grow existing UK business in the sector and drive its international expansion.The agency was formed by a merger in 2010 between SPA and Future Thinking (formerly The Oxford Research Agency). Since then, it has acquired full-service media and technology specialist Essential Research, as well as the Munro Group, which is the parent of research agencies FDS International, Maven Research, M-Lab, and 3000ft Strategic Insight.
Höhner (pictured) joins with more than fifteen years' market research experience. Most recently, he served as an independent Customer Experience, Strategy and Insights Consultant, prior to which he spent six years at Maritz as SVP, Head of Automotive Research for Europe/AsiaPac, and four years as MD of Ipsos Loyalty in Germany. Earlier, he was MD of Ipsos subsidiary Sample QM, and Director of Automotive Research for Ipsos in Hamburg.
In his new role, Höhner will assume direct responsibility for SPA Future Thinking's automotive research team in High Wycombe, with full access to the specialist quant, qual and analytics skills across the wider 180-strong team.
