Mediacom's former Director of Analytics Philip Tiongson has been hired for the new post of Director of Research Solutions at Agility Research & Strategy, the firm launched in Singapore last November by former Harris Interactive managers Amrita Banta and Asha Choksi.The full service agency focuses on research across Asia using online and other digital collection tools. It also offers research-based consulting using both traditional and new methods of data collection.
Tiongson joins with more than fifteen years' experience. Most recently, he ran his own data knowledge/mining agency, Numerati, prior to which he oversaw the development of statistical and analytical models at Mediacom. During his career, Tiongson has also held senior strategy and analytics positions at Mediabrands, Universal McCann, Zenithmedia, McCann Erickson and Ogilvy Network/MindShare.
Commenting on the appointment, Banta said: 'We believe that Philip will be an important addition to Agility as we strengthen our position in the marketing research industry and expand our service offerings to clients in new categories.'
