UK-based qual and quant agency Marketing Sciences has promoted Jane Rudling to the position of Managing Director, replacing Keith Bates who takes on the role of Executive Chairman.
Founded in 1977, Marketing Sciences also offers sensory panel services, and is itself a part of marketing services group Creston, which also owns pollster ICM.
Prior to joining nineteen years ago, Rudling was a researcher at Mars, and held senior roles at Coca Cola Schweppes and at Honeywell Information Systems.
Rudling says this is an exciting time at the firm: 'we are expanding our sensory premises, developing our offering in digital, neuro and eye tracking, while also building on our traditional areas of strength such as consumer testing, brand tracking, customer satisfaction and packaging research.'
Bates' new position follows his appointment as Head of Creston Insight in February, sitting on the Executive Board of the parent company.
