Zodiak Kids, the children's division at Zodiak Media, has created an international research department, 'The Research Lab', and promoted François Vallerian, Research Manager at Marathon Media, to lead it.As VP, Marketing Research, Zodiak Kids, Vallerian will focus the unit's attention on three areas: qual and quant studies among kids in Europe and North America, measuring the performance and potential of shows; worldwide performance tracking for Zodiak's sales team; and the monitoring of key market trends worldwide including changes in kids' expectations, emerging genres and interactive approaches, and the relationship between kids & families.
The Lab will serve all Zodiak Kids production companies including Marathon Media, Tele Images Productions, The Foundation and Zodiak Active, plus its international sales and licensing teams.
Based in the company's Paris headquarters, Vallerian also retains his role as Marathon Media's Marketing & Research Manager. Prior to joining Marathon in 2009 he worked on international audience studies, including research among kids, at M6's Research unit, for four years.
