In the UK, former Nielsen Online MD (EMEA) Louise Ainsworth has taken up the post of Chief Executive Officer of online intelligence service and marketing and research publisher Warc.
Most recently, Ainsworth was SVP, Advertiser Solutions at Nielsen, responsible for the development and rollout of the firm's Brand Effect solution. Earlier, she served as MD, EMEA for Nielsen Online, overseeing online audience and ad measurement, social media monitoring and mobile media measurement capabilities in the Europe, Middle East and Africa regions.
During her career, Ainsworth has served as Managing Partner, Consulting & Planning at OgilvyOne, Group Director of Engagement Management at Organic Online, and Head of Strategy at BBC Education. Additionally, she was a Consultant at Bain & Co, and held senior marketing positions at Shell Aviation.
Commenting on her new position, Ainsworth said: 'I have been a huge advocate for Warc since I first used it as a client. Beyond the service itself Warc represents a community of industry practitioners who believe that great advertising is based on great insight - I look forward to working with them.'
