US-based consultancy Harpeth Marketing has launched a new service called 'Marketing & Sales Audits', to help market research agencies evaluate and improve their promotional and business development efforts.Harpeth was set up in April by the former President of online qual specialist 20|20 Research, Steve Henke (pictured). His firm works with MR companies to create marketing and sales plans through a process-based program of consulting, coaching and accountability.
Through the Level 1 Audits stage of the new service, clients will be able to analyze their company's marketing and sales initiatives, revenue, history and client base. Level 2 Audits then give them feedback from the market by surveying their clients and former clients, and 'secret shopping' their main competitors. Results from both audits are condensed into a report containing analysis and improvement recommendations.
Henke explains: 'For those firms with established marketing and sales programs in place, these audits serve as a 'fresh set of eyes' to help take their efforts to the next level. For firms with a lack of experience and limited business development systems in place, the audits serve as a jumping-off point for accelerated revenue growth.'
