US-based agency Food Insights has been re-named 'Research Between the Lines' (RBTL), reflecting a shift in the company towards more integrated qual/quant methodologies. The firm, which was founded in 1990 by Judy Patton (pictured), was formerly known as Food Insights to its food industry customers, and Insights Research Group for all other customers. Its services include home use tests, focus groups and full service surveys.
Patton explains: 'By integrating qualitative information with quantitative data, our clients receive statistical analysis as well as the nuances or color that qualitative provides. This holistic approach works for everyone but has particular benefit to smaller companies that may not have large research budgets or are looking for a more nimble approach.'
The firm, which has offices in Delray Beach, Florida, and Chicago, Illinois, is online at: www.researchbetweenthelines.com .
