US-based research software company Survey Analytics has launched a new product called LifeMetrix to provide clients with insight into consumers' mobile lives.LifeMetrix collects real-time data from panelists' mobile devices. To date, the service has been used in a number of scenarios - for example, to analyze the installation and usage of competitive shopping apps; to collect data about consumers' usage of battery memory, 3G and Wifi; and to measure the travel patterns of consumers while they are on vacation.
